ER Shaw 22-250 Imp varmint contour information

What kind of accuracy are you getting form this barrel? It is half the price on most custom barrels, is that the quality too? If you don't want to flame....send me a PM.

I think the big thing about ER Shaw barrels is the inconsistancy. You can get some that are take drivers, I have 2 and I just ordered a 7saum from gunshack. One is a 10/22 barrel, impressive accuracy, shoots and cleans easy. I have a 308 barrel, it shoots ok, I dont think it is any better then a factory savage barrel. To continue on the inconsistany theme, you can look around and see alot of barrels that shoot really good and some not so much. I think what you get with a Shilen, Kreiger Broughton or the other premium barrels is that they have tighter specs as well as use a more consistant grade and hardness of steel to give more consistant results.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
