Ok im sorry but that thick recoil lug looks cool....I have one of Jims recoil lugs to go on my new Brux 280 Rem.My question is will a tubbs recoil lug from REMM. fit on my savage 112? If it will how do i keep the lug Straight? because it does not have the pin in it like the Nothland lug does. Thanks guys.

not sure ,but if you use a wheeler action wrench
there is a cut out for the lug to set in

How thick is Jims recoil lug> If it is at least .200 thou thick,it will do the job. The tubbs is great, but save it for later.

Jims is way thick enough. And yes the lug internal diameter is the same as a small shank savage. In fact all of Jims stuff is all you need.

I had a very nice PTG recoil lug.
.300" thick and nicely machined.

I have one of the Tubb recoill lugs on a small shank build, worked great.
