removing shine on SS barrel

I have a CBI SS barrel and was told there is ways to get rid of the shine. Anybody have any info on this? How abouts some pictures of what it looks like when finished?

bead blast, paint, steel wool

I was thinking steel wool or 3m mesh. What is the best way to do it?

most gunsmiths will charge about $15 to bead blast it and do it while you wait. It will end up looking like this barrel:
