I am wanting to go out west this fall with my son to hunt antelope. Does anyone have a reasonable good guide service to recommend?

Depends on the state you are looking at. Out here there is so much public land all you need is a map to pre scout the areas then go, no need for a guide in WY IMO.

Yeah seriously... I wouldn't waste the money on a guide. Drop me a PM and I'd be more than happy to hook you up w/ information I planned for my son and I back in 2010... check out the report/pics http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/4472345/Another_Successful_Wyoming_PH_ here.

It may be hard to believe, but if '12 is anything like '10, I could virtually guarantee that you guys would both shoot bucks, even if not "wall hangers," depending upon how you define that.

Let me know if I can be of assistance! This was a simple hunt and an unbelievably cool time right near the Black Hills & Mt Rushmore. Absolutely incredible!

I went to Wy. in 2010 & 11. Called Wy. DNR & they sent me a list of Ranchers that let you hunt for a tresspass fee. I picked a ranch with 50,000 acres & paid $250.00 for a tresspass fee. We stayed in tent right on his property. Went alone in 2010 & friend in 2011. With friend gas, Lic., tresspass fee, trip was $1100.00 per man & we saw 600 pronghorn in 3 days of hunting. Prairie dogs & yotes as secondary animals. Had a blast
