Are there aftermarket triggers for the striker ? Will a rifle accutrigger or any aftermarket rifle triggers fit the Striker reciever if I go to a rear grip stock ? I have had several XP-100 remengtons and have used Model 700 triggers on them so was wondering if a model 10,11, or so on will work on the striker.

if you go rear grip, anything that fits the rifle will fit the striker

And if you stay with the mid-grip, Rifle Basix had be made to work. AsK Blue Avenger for his tutorial.

thanks to both of you for replys.....
any info you can share I will be happy to get. I am a machinist by trade so if I need to make a part I can do so....
Would like to stay with center grip if I can get a decent trigger pull. What do I need for putting the aftermarket trigger on and making it work ?

rifle basix will work, you just take the finger spur off.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v675/gcidso123/savage/striker003.jpg

Blue avenger, does the rifle basics better than a well tuned factory? I have mine tuned real good but the part that I dont like is the little bit of the take up or is that normal?

Take up can be adjusted with the nut up front that tightens the rear down, or at least on a 1st gen thats how it works.

Larry, if I adjust it to where there is no take up then I get slam fires when working the bolt. Mine is a gen 2

you can get it a bit smoother, but you still need a bit of free play in the center grip system to let everything settle in.

Thanks, I was just making sure that I had it right.

try this guy for custom pins to take out some of the play at the mag box pivot.
