Hi,

I am new here and just bought a new (little used) 110 Ba. The bolt shows no wear or marks anywhere on them and the gun is in immaculate condition.

I've loaded for my M1A, and LR308 and both have definite preferences on bullets and powder. I have available here 165 and 180 PSP's with H414, 322, 748, H4895 loaded and components.

Has anyone had luck with any combination of the above? Failing that, are there any favorite loads you guys have found the gun likes?

Welcome to the Forums, your gonna love it here. Each rifle is an inigma as to what it will shoot well. Bullet weight will depend on what ranges you plan on shooting at. For long range (800 to 1000 yards) consider the 175/190 gr SMK or 178 gr A-Max. Of course, the heavier bullets will require a slowish powder, IMR 4350, H4350 and possibly 748, 760. You can obtain data from the powder manufacturers on line to get you started. I hesitate to list specific loads because what works in my 308 may not shoot well in yours.

No testing with the combos mentioned, but this is what worked for me.
My 10 BA favors the 168 grain bullets. With the Berger target boatails(not VLD's) having the edge in accuracy. Although the new hybrids and SMK's aren't far behind. Seating depth for most is .020 off the lands. I used Sierra's listed load data for best accuracy, which is 42 grains of Reloader 15. It's slow @ 2600 fps, but who's after speed with a 308 win? Shoots 3" and under groups out to 530 yds.(farthest I can shoot at my range).
