Want to convert Savage 111 with floorplate to blind magazine. Is this possible? Want to make a long range rifle using a Choate blind magazine stock. Even thinking of converting to single shot. Any suggestioned welcome!!!!

Suggestion Number one: Contact me when you are ready to get rid of the stock and bottom metal if it is center feed.

Will do, Stangfish if I don't use it. Waiting to to see what my options are.
Hopefully will make it a single shot, I like hand feeding, always have, for some reason.

The answer to your first question...yes. I am not sure if anyone sells a singleshot "sled" for a long action but I have seen stocks with the mag well filled in. As a matter of fact I think a guy was building an axis stock here in the Axis forum and he used a piece of aluminum as a sled.

Thanks Bob

Just drop the follower and mag box into the blind mag well if stagger feed and you should be good to go. If centerfeed there maybe some fitting of parts but it will still work.
Single shot check with SSS they may make the " Fred sled " for long action.

Thanks for the info. I thought that might work but the gun is in lay-a-way so I can 't check at this time.
