93R17 Package

Looking for some input. I'm looking at one of the 17HMR packages that come with a scope. I've been to two different stores and one had it with a Simmons scope and the other with a Bushnell wondering if one is better than the other. or if either one is any good? I'm a beginner and don't want to sink a lot of money into it yet. Opinions would be appreciated

This is just my opinion but I like Bushnell and won't own another Simmons. ( to many failures)
These were not all on kicking guns and not all cheap versions. The Simmons did seem to be clearer but that
doesn't matter if it won't hold zero.

I've had good luck with the bushnell (granted its a 3200) on my 270wsm. I'd feel comfortable buying another.

Both are bottom of the line el-cheapo scope models so one's probably no better than the other. For the extra $50 they get for the "package" model, you'd be better off just getting the gun itself and slapping a much better quality scope on it for $100.

i like the bushnell 3200s. good glass for the money.wish i could have bought more from the natchez closeouts
