the bolt in your pix is that from SSS?

if so can i ask how much it cost because im looking for something exactly like that for my build i just did and i love that long handle.

i think it would finish off my rifle perfectly. you can see pix of it in a thread i started called rebarreling a 110 i think its on the forth page of the forum.

Monkey, Is that a pentax? Looks like it has been a workhorse. If it could only tell stories.

Burris signature 1 1/2 x 6.
It swaps onto my slug gun when I need it to.
I should give it a good cleaning.

If it were up to me, I'd spend a few more dollars and a bolt that is custom ground to start with from Pacific Tool and Gauge.

A new PTG bolt fluted will be way better than a factory bolt with flutes. Although you'll have to adjust the headspace.

Are the new bolt bodies that you can get for an extra $20 over sending them yours to have fluted just factory savage bolt bodies or is it a higher quality one like a PTG bolt body?
