Savage 10fp magazine question

I want to get a 10fp in .308. I noticed the magazine is internal or blind. For those that have this, do you find it annoying? I'll be using this gun for target and hunting. Share your thoughts...

I installed a single shot follower in my 10FP. I only see the blind magazine as being useful in the field. But then, you should only need one shot right?
