Good day
I have a Stevens 200 in 300 WM that I was thinking about rebarreling into a 7mm WSM.
This will be my first build so I figured this would be the best place to start.
With my doner gun already being a mag is this as simple as a barrel swap or will there be more involved.

This is an easy swap. Just make sure your new WSM barrel is a small shank.
Barrel is all you need.

Pretty sure that you need a different bolt head as well, but maybe not; double check.

I have done 10 guns with mcgowen and they are great tubes, that's all I will shoot from now on

Dlasure2,
Are you interested in selling your 300WM magazine?
Modified: Thanks for the heads up Jglover.

Your 300WM bolt head will work fine on the 7WSM cartridge

Keep your mag box, it will work and probaly with no tweaking.
