Pre E-receiver 93R17 stock?

Got a 93R17 FSS from my father today; it is an earlier model without Accutrigger and before the "E" receiver. Nice little rifle but I want to ditch the tupperware stock.

Anybody know if the Boyd Ross Rimfire Varmint Thumbhole laminated stock will work with pre-E receiver guns?

Yes it will. I bought one for my pre "E". cant remember exactly what I had to do but I know I did have to sand a little. It wast much.

Put one on mine also. Can't remember every thing but it would help if u have dremel tool handy and i used a flap disc to make room for the receiver. Beats the heck out of that old plastic stock it had. Oh yea and it seems to shoot alil better too ;D
