7x57 Mauser AI on a VZ Mauser action, A&B 7x57 barrel, 1-9 twist, 24 inch Heavy sporter barrel. Bold Trigger and safety, smooth bolt shroud in a Boyds laminate Prairy hunter stock In a subdued color like walnut, checkered option. Ceracote or duracoat black. Bedded, barrel freefloated topped with a 4 or 6 fixed power Weaver (K4 or K6). All depends on if I get the action I am looking at for a decent price.
With the 1-9 twist I should be able to accurately shoot the 154-160 gr. bullets I like and still use the 139/140 if I want. I am sure I can get 2700FPS with the 160's. I can do all the work except drill and tap for scope mounts and finish ream the chamber. Lugs will be lapped as will any other moving part. I may also install a cock on opening parts.

I'm either going with a 260 Rem or 7mm RSAUM, not sure which yet.

I still havent gotten around to getting one of these, but now I'm contemplating getting a 7mm Creedmoor wildcat, 2900+fps with 168gr. bullets out of a 26" barrel while still fitting comfortably in a magazine is really interesting.

Just about to finish up my .25/06. I have a line on a donor action for a .264 Winchester Magnum build I've been wanting to do for years and I'm strongly considering a WSM of some sort since I've never fired one. Still looking for an action for the .270/08AI project that hit a serious snag a couple of years ago.

UPDATE

The .25/06 is up and running, I also have a .300 WSM shooting pretty good and the .264 WM project has been delayed yet again in favor of a 7MM Mashburn Super Magnum that should be up and running in the next couple of days, I just need to finish the chamber and load up some fireform loads ;D

That's going to be about it for projects this year, I drew a pretty good pronghorn tag and need a new spotter and range finder, plus I'm pretty well out of scopes!

It looks like it will be a 6mmBr as I just bought a barrel. I have 3 other builds I have not had time to work up a load for.
