Barrell thread size

Tried doing a search on the thread size of a savage barrell, I have a 30-06 barell off a stevens 200 with the stagger feed, and just wondering what the actual thread dimensions are. Thanks.

The Stevens actions should have the small shank which would be 1.055 x 20 TPI. Savage uses large shank (1.125X20 TPI) and small shank (1.055X20 TPI). Those numbers are approximate they will vary a little bit when you measure the inside of the recoil lug or the outside of the barrel tenon (part of barrel that screws into the action).

Thanks, measured the recoil lug and it puts me very close to the 1.055.
