Model 16ss short action questions

I have a new, unfired model 16ss 243 ww, accu trigger, dbm, ss sporter barrel and plastic stock. I want to turn this into a long range .243, heavy barrel shooter. Will the 115 gr dtacs feed through this action and magazine? Would like to have a plan prior to beginning.

Seat a dtacs in a cartridge to the depth you want and give it a try. Or if you dont have any dtacs load another bullet out to the lengh you anticipate and give it a try.

Your right, I need to get a box of 115 dtacs and experiment. Was hoping someone may have experience with that bullet. The folks over a GA Precision have a 243 dtac reamer. Wonder how much further they are going in?

they will if your reamer is speced out to what you want. im thinking no freevore might be needed for this application
