110 fcp lapua ackley improved

Any one know if a guy were to re-cut the chamber of a new FCP to .338 lapua ackley improved,would the mag feed this round?Was really thinking of trying this on a new shilen 30" barrel.This rifle is a steal with all the features but Savage missed the boat on the barrel length.a 28-30" barrel would have put this rifle over the top!!

Mr. Ackley wasn't around when the Lapua hit the market so you can not get it AI'd. You can have the chamber cut for an improved version named .338 Axe. Or just hav one of the vendors here spin up a .338 Edge for you. 150 fps faster than the Lapua and about 1/3 cost for dies and brass.

Whats the 338 axe ? I never heard of this one . Your saying its 150 fps faster than the lapua , I will research this one.
