New 110

My new rifle is a mod 110 in a 7 mag. If I understand all this barrel swapping stuff, I should be able to buy a barrel in say 2506cal and swap out. Will I not have to have a dif. bolt also? Thanks.

Midway or Brownels both should have them. Get a bolthead for a 30-06 for a 25-06 as it is a necked down 30-06. A new extractor, spring and ball and ejector and spring is also a good idea. Magazine lips may or may not need tweeking, New bolt heads dont come with those parts. if you try to use the old parts, disassemble in a plastic bag or parts will fly due to spring pressure. Under the extrator is a spring and a ball bearing that fits into a recess under the extractor. To remove the extractor simply push it off the bolt face, and the ball and spring will fly out.
