I have been looking for a new match grade barrel for my 116 weather warrior 300 rum and boy the wait times are crazy. some are 3 months out and others are 6 months.
looking at going with brux barrel from sin arms they had the shortest wait time.
right now its still the factory barrel with factory muzzel break (26" + brake) not happy at all with factory brake.
would you go with a 30" barrel no brake or 28 with good brake?
what your thoughts on brux barrels?

I'd do the 28" and a brake between the two.

Sinman and a Brux are top of the line. You won't find better.

I will personally never have another brake. Saved and bought an ops inc suppressor. A world of difference for you and people around you. If your state is still in the dark ages and will not allow them for hunting - easy to remove for a couple of rounds. POA shift but easy to take care of. Not your original question, but another option. Have one on a 375-06 savage that is very easy on the ears and takes a lot of recoil out!

Patricia Stoneking& the team at the KSRA were able to lobby & get that passed last spring, it is now legal to hunt with a suppressor in Ks.

If you want to toss a tip their way to encourage their work for the 2nd amendment, go to http://ksraweb.com/

Also as far as match grade goes, on my uncles shilen barrels the base of the chamber is much tighter but the neck is still on the loose side the neck was atleast +.005 than a loaded round.
