I am going over to Kingsport next week to finish shape a pistol stock. So far the prototype is in the rough. If we can get to a suitable design, the stock maker has a 5 axis duplicating machine. I am trying to talk him into mocking some patterns for savage actions. It is easy for him to duplicate, this action is a left/left small shank, but any action can be fitted if he has one to work from.

Any interest?

pricing would be a big factor in my interest

Pricing for everything is a big factor. ;)
There is some finish/fitting work left to the shooter or the smith, so I expect a $ difference between these and other finished stocks. This one is a cross between bench and carry, pattern is VLP with grip similar to tatical rifle stock, (butt removed).

The trick of his tooling setup is, different stock patterns can be incorporated in the blank, and inletting for the selected action can be changed easily. Almost opted for a narrower forarm, but the vlp suited me. This one will be rear grip using the factory trigger and mag.
Hope it shapes up suitable for a second pattern.
