I am re-barreling to a 6.5 creedmoor on my model 10. The only gauge I can find in stock is a no go. Can I headspace with only that one? I have no fired cases, only new ones.

No - you need a Go gauge (or a fired and resized piece of brass).

No.

If you headspace off of the No Go gauge, you will have too much headspace and issues with brass resizing and short brass life (as in case head separations). The No Go gauge should not be able to be chambered in a properly headspaced barrel. How are you going to be able to set the headspace so the bolt "almost" closes?

Keep looking for a Go gauge. Put a "Want To Buy" or "Want To Borrow" in the classifieds here. I'm sure someone has one.

This is NOT something you want to cut corners on.

I'm only able to find Creedmoor Sports and Midway that carry the PTG 6.5Creedmoor guages.

Maybe PTG has them instock themselves ? (although its not listed on their product page, are Midway and Creedmoor sports the only ones authorized to sell it ??? )

PR&G has them and I ordered one.
Thanks Jim and others. Now I can install the barrel I ordered from you last week.
