Leupold base hitting bolt handle

Has anyone else had this problem?? It's a round receiver Stevens 200. When I broke a screw in my cheap weaver mounts, I thought I'd upgrade to leupold bases and rings.... I've checked with a square and the rear side is even with the front side.....

No. I've never run into that problem using Leupold mounts? I'd go with an Evolution Gun Works (EGW) base. You can order directly from their web site.

is this a one piece or a 2 piece mount?

It's a two piece mount...

do you have the rear base turned backwards? this is a common problem. the windage screw goes towards the muzzle, it should be hanging over the ejection port.
