I just found this rifle on the net but as far as I can tell Savage discontinued this rifle. A few sites say they have it but it is always out of stock. Does anybody have ideas on where I could find one. Thanks!!

Yea, I saw that one but I don't really like it near as much as the 110FP. I'm really picky. I might just have to wait and try to find someone selling a used one.

I'm building my own version ....... on the cheap and the barrel is going to be stainless sans a muzzle brake.

........ and a pitance for cost.

and a very nice stainless barrel too! All it needs is the matching stock to go with...

Call Savage's 800# then ext.6 and ask for Effie Sullivan, she will tell you what can be made and the msrp. Then have your ffl call and order.
OR
Get in touch with Northlander ( J. Briggs) sponsor here and see what he has or can get for you.
Either way I'm sure you can get what you want.

I have one that I was selling to offset the cost of one of my current builds. I put it up in the classifieds. Take a look, and let me know if your interested.

That's the route I went when I wanted a 110FP in 30-06. It was a regular production gun in 2005 until they switched to the 25-06. It cost me a litte more, but it's worth it. My gun shoots under 1/2" with my handloads and I'm happy with it for long range work.

Hey Teddy; I'v got a 111GCNS in 25/06. Haven't had time to work up a load. What do you shoot that gives you good accuracy? Maybe can save me some trail and error. thanks Smoke

Well mines a 30-06, but I stick with 168gr & 190gr matchkings over IMR 4350, lapua brass and Winchester primers. Makes a very nice target load for that rifle.

Go with the 87 grain bullets best for fps and shooting flat
