I broke down my Savage 116 this weekend for two different projects. The first was to skim bed the action and the second is to replace the trigger with a rifle basix trigger. The skim bedding went perfect now I am trying to put the rifle back together so I can replace the trigger and I have a proble. I can not for the life of me get the safety back onto the rifle. It looked simple enough when I removed it but I can not get it back on. I really need the help and advice of those of you that are experienced at this.
