I want to NATO rounds mostly so want a 223 in wylde-chamber
Use will be profs, paper, varmints etc
I haves dual port target action so need large shank barrel.
I saw midway carries Shilen for 300$,
I am thinking 1/8 twist and 26 inch long.
What barrel should I get?

My 223 Wylde chamber is 1.8 twist, 26" from Sin Arms. I can shoot up to the 80gr A-Max.

why nato rounds? if anything i'd want to reload some 77smk, 75amax or 80vld's to shoot through it to take advantage of the twist, action and quality barrel

nato cuz I have a few k rounds in my stash and I don't reload yet so longer stuff will get expensive for now.

I have a 223 wylde Shilen 26" long 1 in 8 twist small shank varmit that I got from Midway
It shoots great!
If I had to do over again, I would contact Jim at Norththaland Shooters Supply, he is one of the sponsers here and a great guy to deal with
He has shilen barrels that are select match
I think the barrels from Midway are match grade, whether you would be able to tell the difference in accuracy I do not know
