Model 14 Going Hunting [Archive]

I have had my rifle for two weeks now, and am sold that it is the best shootin' rifle I have ever owned.
I thought my older Rem. 700 was accurate, but this rifle is crazy accurate.
Part of it I am sure, is the accu-trigger.
Deer season opens in the morning, sure am hoping for a long shot. ;D
I think Savage got it right on this one!

Don't feel bad, the only deer I saw this season in MN were on the backs of other cars :(

I sure hope the next couple weeks in WI will be better... need meat!

Don't bet on it. Only deer I've seen are the one that have been HIT by cars !
