Hope you liked it, can't wait to go shoot. Only thing left to do will be installing a rail for a bipod, installing an oversized bolt knob, and getting a better bipod

Well done; congratulations!

That..Klingon stock ;)..actually looks pretty cool. I don't like elaborate designs, but this has a sanitary look in its unfinshed state that mitigates the fussy shape.

Great work Bob! You have inspired me to create my own stock. That and I hate that now that I've attached a bi-pod any motion in the back of the stock flexes the action and makes the barrel touch the stock. I'm curious what size and type of bits you used to do the barrel/action channel and the other inletting? Any other info or tips would be greatly appreciated. Cheers to you for making a replacement, then finding a way to use the mag, and then making a thumbhole stock.

About the inletting, it is a 1.35 half-circle, I used a 1.25 dia. bit that I do 2 pass with, offset just a bit. The rest is cut using straight bit

What stain did you use for the thumb hole stock? I really like that color.

It is a water based stain, turquoise color. The company is called Saman
