I am wanting to build a .338 Edge or RUM on a Savage long action with SF blind magazine. Is this a good stock for that build? Will it support a long action with blind magazine without a bunch of mods? I will likely stick a single shot adapter in the mag instead of using it as a repeater.

That's about as good of an option as any right now for the price. Long actions don't have many inexpensive alternatives. I'm happy with mine, but plan on bedding it as it is a pretty sloppy fit even on the sides.

Its what I'm going to be running at first...may order a Stockade later but want a stock now or pretty soon...if the action I'm building warrants (accuracy) I may pop for a H&S or a McMillan

There are a couple of cheaper sites to buy from...
