Is the Savage .223

factory varmint barrel profile identical to Shilen varmint profile. Need to determine if Savage factory barrel will fit my soft bedded stock now fitted to the Shilen.

I have a Shilen 6BR varmint contour in a BVSS stock, fits fine, so the reverse should be true as well.
