The screws in my new Model 12 F/TR bipod rail protrude slightly and seem to be screwed in at an angle. The protrusion into the channel will not allow the factory supplied sling mount to travel freely. I have ordered a bipod mounting adaptor and suspect that when it arrives it won't slide in the rail channel either. Anybody have a similar experience or have a solution short of sending the gun back to the factory?
