Is anyone using the new 8208 XBR in their .223? if you are, what are your result's and what are your pet load's with it. I have read that it is suppose to be the next best thing for the .223

Google 'IMR 8208' you'll get mixed reviews......

I just bought two bottles to test....but haven't yet.....

Still hard to get a bad powder for the 223....

I use H4895 & Benchmark mainly.....

I'm using IMR 8208 in my stevens 223 cal 22" sporter. This load shoots so well I've hit a 12" gong at 450 yards on second shot. I'm getting easy 1/2" groups at 100 yards.

Load is:

imr 8208 @ 25.8grs.
Nosler 50 GR BT
Fed brass
cci 400 primer
cant remember col right now.

Gets avg 3228 fps.
