I have a 110 with the blind box mag. I would like to replace the wood stock with a hindged floorplate type. Is this possible? Are there any additional issues/parts I may need?
Thanks to all.

if your's is the centerfeed mag, then yes it's pretty easy. If the magazine stays in the stock when removed, it is centerfeed. If it remains attached to the action, it is stagger feed. If it's a center feed, I would go to Sharp Shooter Supply's website (they are advertisers and very frequently on this board) and email them for what parts you need. I have converted two blind mag rifles of mine to detachable mags. It is almost the same process. Hope that helps....

Thanks for you response. Looks like I have a stagger feed as my mag is attached to the action. I contacted SSS last week & they can only accommodate a conversion for the 308 length family of calibers. I have a 458 win mag & I would like to be able to unload from the bottom. Hogue makes a stock that looks like it will fit. Wondering if it will work. It is Midway product# 130057. I would really like to have a high cap detachable box mag for these wild Texas pigs but it looks like that is not an option now.

yup & lots of 'em! I guess I will just keep it a top feed blind mag for now. I have some great 500gr hand cast lead subsonics that I like to use on those porcine abominations. They do not know which way to run! Thanks to all
