I have a Mod 111. 270 cal. This weekend the bolt end came apart when I was shooting. The pin and spring was lost in the grass. Can I replace the whole bolt. If so where can I get one?

Did u just buy it or have u had it or got it used. If its new u can try going thru savage. Maybe they will fix it on warranty.

Yeah, I would also want to know why the whole bolt came apart, that is not something that happens in the normal course of business.

It's about 5 years old. I have always shot Core Locks 130 grain. When i shot it on Saturday this happend.

Run it past savage.....u never know. They may say they will fix it for u on warranty. Especially since u were using factory ammo and not handloads. Worst they can say is no........lol
