I was having feeding issues with my Savage 110 in 30-06. It's an 80's rifle with the internal magazine attached to the receiver. I can't find a replacement leaf spring assembly. Would this work?

I was trying to stretech the spring to give it more "spring" and I broke the bottom leaf. OOPS! I'm in no rush right now. Deer season is over for me. No trips until next year.

This one has a coil spring. Is this for detachable box magazines or newere rifles with the magazine attached to the stock? Will it work in mine?

Thanks,
Tony.

I have the coil spring followers on 2 rifles. Both work just fine.

Go to any gunsmith as they can make a leaf out of spring stock if the coil doesnt work.In my opinion they(coil) tend to be wimpy compared to the leaf type.Check with gunparts in west hurly ,new york state
