Ring Height

I'm going to mount a Simmons Whitetail Classic 6.5-20x50 AO on a sporter barrel. It is a combo model, already has Weaver bases. What height Weaver rings will it take to clear the barrel? I'm thinking highs, but not sure. Any info would help. Thanks

Hi millet med rings fit, I like them they have that windage ajustment, but I allways get high ones due to the fact that there is a bull or at least a varment barrel upgrade in the future, and don't want to have to buy rings on top of that, and anyways they work just fine with the sporter barrel in the mean time.

I have trouble getting any kind of cheek weld with highs. I can shoot so much better w/ weld.
