I think most of them come with a neoprene cover now which would work just as good for keeping dust off of the lenses while in storage.
Not so, at least not with the last couple I've purchased or the last 3-4 I've received in for review.
As for the Butler Creek caps, that's what I ended up getting because there was no way I was spending $80 on scope caps to get the Leupold ones. Yes they're nice, but $40/ea? NO THANKS! I've been running Butler Creeks for years and never had one break on me. I will say though that I don't care for their Blizzard caps.
