Savage bolt handle nut

I bought a 111 about a month or two ago and was taking my bolt handle nut off today and noticed that the threads are all jacked up and stripped.

Anyone seen this before? Im kind of pissed and going to call Savage tomorrow.

No, I've not experienced that. Definitely contact Savages for a replacement.
