Modifying the mag for larger caliber????

I got a Stevens in 223. I am about to switch the barrel to maybe a 308 and wanted to know if anybody did modify their mag or bought new ones to accomodate the longer cartridge.

Buy a new magazine.

They're relatively cheap, and not too difficult to swap out.

You can get Blind Mag???? Well I did not know, where exactly? and most important, I'm in Canada, do you think it is restricted for exportations?
