300 rum build ?

just picked up a used donor gun for my 300rum build. it's an accutrigger 30-06 blued with a Simmons scope, got it for $325. I want to make it a single shot and use SSS follower. when getting a magnum bolt face, should I get the push or controlled round feed one?

Get a push feed! Your action more than likely wont be cut for the standing ejector. I converted a .270 to a magnum and my push feed works like a charm!

That's what I was thinking. Makes more sense. Got a mcgowan CM 26in varmint #1 ordered. Can't wait to get it all together. thanks for the input
