Savage 111 30-06

I have a 111FCNS and it got about 200-300 rounds through it and I noticed the bolt has a lot of play when you pull it all the way back. It hits on the stock tupperware stock.

Is this normal/broken in?

Yes, there will be play in the bolt, not to worry.

I recently saw the same thing with a brand new nosler 48 rifle. I think the bolt hitting the stock when fully retracted is fairly common but is really rather sloppy workmanship.
