This is five shots @ 100yds, 175 Sierra Match Kings, 38.2 grains of Reloader 15, Federal Brass, CCI primers. The overall length is 2.800". The group measured at .470" .....unsure of FPS...no cronograph (yet)

The rifle is a Savage .308 22" bull barrel/fluted.

I thought it was a good group, but someone at the range said, "its fine, just a lite load."

I worked loads up to 41 grains (no sign of pressure) ...and the group started opening up, but still under a MOA.... 38.2 and 38.9 grains shot almost exact.

Max load (book) is in the 45 grain area. Keep going. As you climb up the charge scale, with any rifle, you watch the groups open up, then tighten. Open up, then tighten. With 4 grains left to go, I am sure your groups will open a little more, then close back up.

The load you have there, assuming that it continues to shoot that way, would be a good for 100/200 yard practice with out beating you up any.
