I ordered a barrel and its diameter is 1.120, I read on here that the large shank action is 1.120" x 20tpi, does that mean I'll have toget a small shank action then? Seems kind of obvious that it won't work, but thought I'd ask.
Thanks!

The treaded portion of the barrels are 1.120" on the Large Shank Barrels. Unless you have one that is 1.060" (Small Shank) you should have the barrel for a Large Shank Action.

Thank you Jim.
This is a unthreaded barrel though, so I'll loose some diameter when it's threaded and it will be too small right?

The major diameter on a large shank barrel is 1.120", but I have measured many that are slightly smaller 1.112-1.115". So if you ordered a blank that is 1.120" to thread for a large shank action you are okay even if a few thousands of an inch need to be turned off to clean up the surface before threading.
