A couple of months ago I purchased some of the remanufactured ultramax 40 grain nosler BT ammo. It was around 98 degrees the day I went out to try it out, and was getting sticky bolt, so I put the box back up. Today it was around 75 degrees, and I thought I would try it again. It shot really, really good! I shot 5 groups, all well below .75", with the best being .35 and another in the low .40's. This is from a model 25 lightweight varminter "classic" with the sporter barrel. Ive only tried a couple of handloads in this rifle, all below 1", but these ultramax loads beat them all.

Any idea what powder Ultramax might be using to load these? Whatever it is, it is pretty temp sensitive due to the sticky bolt on the first hot day I tried. I would very much like to duplicate these results with my own loads.
