Lug Size

How do you tell if you have standard barrel shank or large without removing (haven't done it & will let the smith do it) the barrel off? 12BVSS -- Want to get a new lug! Any help is appreciated!

A large shank will have a step down right at the end of the nut. My guess is that you have a standard shank action.
