Mod# 96734, and Mod# 93517, look identical other than an extra swivel stud on the 93517. Any other differences that warrants a $70 price differential? Budsguns told me to call Savage, Savage didn't want to tell me anything without a serial #.......Anybody know? Both look like heavy blue barrels in a brown laminated stock, with accutrigger. Thanks for any help ;)

The 93517 comes with a laminate stock and the 96734 comes with a walnut stock.

That's the only thing that was confusing, Savage said the BV means laminated stock.
From what I can figure out...
B- laminated
G- hardwood
Classic- walnut
F- synthetic
V- heavy barrel
EV- Evolution
