I like the first one inline myself. I would love to have one.

He made me the first one on the left and I really like it. It is in natural aluminum and stainless colors.

Here's a stainless one uncoated.

Here's one I got a little creative with. I call it my Turbo knob. It's kinda hard keeping the flutes perfectly even, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with it. I also made one with 4 larger flutes that I like even more.

I got the 7x10 and plan on trying this some time.

The biggest problem with those mini lathes is they are grossly underpowered. Even the South Bend lathes usually have only a 110V, 3 phase motor. My fathers was one and only the lightest feeds worked worth a darn.

how much would you charge me for one of those custom bolt handles? that is if youd even sell them. the one on the top left would fit the bill perfectly for what i need.

If you;re talking about the pics in the OP, I had to copy and paste the photobucket page adresses into a new window to see them. could be because the thread is over a year old, could be b/c something got botched in the BB code, a keystoke error, no telling. Seems to me that an unusual amount of the coding for things like attachments and even certain types of punctuation "ages" funny on this board, and a number of others i've visited. when it's freshly posted it works fine then after a few moths you get "code text" where an apostrophe or Ampersand is supposed to be.

When they changed to the new bulletin board program the code to insert photos changed. Here is the original post quoted with the photo links updated:
I'm so happy this worked out I have to show the world ;D. I just got to thinking about making a jig for Savage bolt handles and it seems to have worked out pretty well. I took a piece of 1" round, cut an angled shelf, drilled&tapped a 1/2-13 hole, welded on a couple 1/4-20 nuts for set screws and it works. Sorry the pictures suck ..... I probably ought to put more effort into learning how the camera works.

Wow that is cool looking. I see where people are asking if you are making any of these, but didn't see if you were. Maybe I missed it, but if you are how much are you asking to make them???

This is a pretty old thread, and making and then selling things on this site is against the rules now, and buying or selling outside of the Paid Member Classified boards is against the rules also. So you probably won't get an answer, just like all the other people that asked 2 years ago when this thread was still active.

Figured I would throw that out there since I see this is your first post.
