Well, I have my 10fp-sr at the house with the scope, and rings/base. The more I look at the jacked up off center stock that came with the rifle the more I want to replace it. While considering what to replace it with I started thinking about how nice it'd be to get a reachable magazine conversion done to this while I was at it. This kind of project is beyond anything I've done myself in the past, and I'd like to get it all professionally done if its reasonable. I like the McMillan and b&c medalist types of stocks but I don't know where to go to get all this work done.

Any recommendations?

Gemtech Sandstorm...........jus sayin (cause i got one on my new, unfired, SR!) HA! I'm thinking about the duramaxx if i don't like the OEM stock. mine is centered and is not touching anywhere. .308 coyotes don't stand a chance with that 150 gr fusion is use in my other .308 hopefully this SR likes it as well!

Does walker or manners install their stocks and also do the gunsmithing required to use deachable box magazines. I looked at their websites and it didn't look like either did.

i was looking at their sites and it looks like they just sell the product and you will have to do the work or have a smith in your area do it. it seems to me they just make/resell the stocks, not install/smith them.
