Greetings,

Although I have been reading this and many other forums for weeks, this is my first post. I just ordered a Savage VLP DBM, .22-250 with a 9” twist. I called Berger and talked to one of their fine folks, asking which bullet and powder I should use for 100 to 500 yards and possibly beyond. He told me that if he had only one bullet it would be the Berger 73 grain, BT Target. He would use Varget powder as his only choice. After I hung up the phone I began looking for load data for this combination. I FOUND NONE!! Can anyone help? Thanks

All the data in my load book ,which comes from many diff sources, only has data for 70 or 80 gr pills. No 73 yet.....call berger and see if they have data.

If ur brave and experienced enough u can start w 80 gr data and work down. Do it at ur own risk and if u have any doubt about doing it........then dont do it.....!
