A friend of mine bought one 1-12.5 twist he was wondering what to expect with velocity with the 85 gr nosler. I believe hes using mag pro powder.

My bet would be fast! very fast! I have only ever shot 110 accubonds out of mine and have cracked 3500 with them. Let me know what he comes up with. I am curious.

I got to get one but,I really just started playing around with the 25-06AI. I have a 75gr HP at 3900fps with it so I would hope the 25 wsm would do atleast that with the 85gr. You must post the results.

I'll post his loads and vel but it will be at least two weeks before I'm back in town, then we can chrono them I told him to have loads ready and we could see what it would do when I got back.

I don't think you will beat the 25-06 Ackley with the 25 wsm
the 25-06 AI will push a 87 grain at 3920 fps and with a lot less powder.
the 257 weatherby will only beat it by 50 fps and using 10 more grains of powder
