Have a line on a new Stevens 200 long action. It's been a while since I bought a rifle new. What is an average price for one of these rifles? Just a plain 200, no scope, tupperware stock, 22" barrel. It's a 30-06 if that matters.

Have a question on a Stevens 200 can it be used for a build in 338 Lapua or is the pressure too much for that action

Not sure if the bolt face is the same, pretty sure the mag length is not. You may look at a 338 Sin.

Hmm. Cheapest I can find 'em at Bud's is $320.00.
I'd love to buy one for $268.00.
Will you post a link, please.

I was looking at them a few days before I made my post and they were on sale, but now all I see for $268 is a 7-08.

I had a line on a Stevens rifle at Academy for $150. I turned it down because my brother wants to sell me his savage for $100.

No - Savage went to a special action for that. Won't fit, won't be safe.
