I got my 1st 6BR here a couple months ago and everyone then was telling me Varget is the go to powder. I was shooting 58gr VMax over 31grs of Varget and shot a .331" 5 shot group while breaking in the barrel, so I have been playing with it since.

i have a savage F class(factory 30 inch bbl) that shoots .4-.5 groups at 300 yards with 30.4 varget and 107 smk 10 thou in lands with cci br primers.(as always work up to any load for your gun). my 28 inch criterion bbl model 12 likes 30.0 varget to get the same results at 300 yards and holding one half moa at 600 as well but with 12 thou jump. hope this helps .
